What is a DAO RFP?
A request for proposals published by a decentralised organisation that wants to buy work: research, a security audit, tooling, content, treasury or governance support. The DAO describes the deliverable and the budget, external teams apply in the thread or by email, and token holders or a grants committee decide.
Where do DAOs publish their RFPs?
Almost always on their own governance forum, and nowhere else. There is no central job board. This page queries 87 of those forums directly through their public API, which is why a call can appear here the day it is posted.
How often is this page updated?
Every week. The last pass ran on 2026-09-21 and queried 87 forums, of which 85 responded. Every line shows the date the call was posted, so a call that has been sitting open for a month is visible as such.
How much does a DAO RFP pay?
It ranges from a few hundred dollars for a bounty to six figures for a multi-quarter engagement, and the amount is often absent from the call itself. The nine ways a protocol can pay you are broken down in our guide to DAO funding (in French).
Can you win one without being a known team?

Why are some calls listed without a deadline?
Because the closing date could not be verified in the thread itself. Some calls run on a rolling basis with no cutoff, which is not a date either, others announce a date that turns out to be a review or an award milestone rather than a submission cutoff. When the date is not certain the call is listed under no deadline published, never as open.
Method. Direct queries against the public JSON API of governance forums, with no intermediate aggregator. 87 surfaces on the register, 85 responded on this pass. A silent forum proves no absence, it bounds the coverage: forum.avax.network, forum.hop.exchange. Amounts are extracted from the text of each call and serve to prioritise, never to invoice. A call whose closing date cannot be verified is never listed as open.
